Can we get a ballpark figure on a release date?

I wholeheartidly look forward to C++.
But can we at least get a season? a quarter? a year?
(joking on that year thing, k :))

for another alpha release: this summer
for beta releases maybe this autumn
for a stable release maybe end of this year or early next year.

That's only speculation. It might be sooner or later.

When I say beta, it means it will have at least all the features you can have in the C version (except Glide which will be abondoned in the C++ version), but will need to be tested and there will be known bugs.
