View Full Version : Where to get legacy.wad?

I know I can link legacy.dat from the C version as legacy.wad, and use the -nocheckwadversion option. But where can I find a "valid" 1.50 version of legacy.wad?

I think there isn't one. -nocheck works for me.

Hmm.. There is some wad manipulation needed to be done here, IIRC. Have you read the instructions on what to do in the pre-alpha release thread?

Or use the legacy.wad from the pre-alpha release? That was what you had to do the wad manipulation with (merging it with 1.41/2's legacy.dat).

I have upload one on sf.net download WADs section. (not need to merge anything, it should work out of the box).
