Just a simple question about jDoom.
Is there anyway to make it so that movement on the mouse y axis doesnt cause the marine to walk forwards or backwards? I find this particularly annoying, as disabling the y axis takes away the ability to look up or down with the mouse. *confused*

Yes Doomsday Technical Support is your friend... Though the amswer to this is simple - rebind your controls in the controls menu to how you like them -then turn mouselook on. (note this has changed in the 1.8 alpha releases)

How has it changed? Will I still be able to use mouselook at all? *eek*

Quite the reverse It's far MORE advanced to allow split screen play on your PC (though I don't know if it will support multiple USB mice). But the fact you can have umlimited (yes unlimited*) players on a single box has ment a major rewrite of the input code.
*of course you might find 16+ players on your one screen a little hard to see not to mention a wee bit slow.

well, skyjake did change the input system, in the 1.8 alphas, so that menu doesn't work (v1.8alpha-3)
