What is bigger a MHz?
or a GHz?

Ok thats question number one done!
Question number 2:

Will my computer run DooM 3 my dad thinks it will, but i don't think he knows about all the stuff included.
here are my specs:

OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 1249 MHz with ??500MB?? RAM
Video: SiS 650/651/M650/740 (2040)
DirectX Version: DirectX 8.1

i wasnt sure about my ram but it is about 400-500.

Ghz is faster.

Look at a few threads around here and in the Doom3 area. There are a LOT of threads already on, "will my computer run Doom3."

AMD Pentium? Where the hell are you getting your system specs from?

(In case you didn't know, AMD doesn't produce Pentiums - Intel Does)

That SiS card is bad, you want be running anything beyond Q3 on that. I'm assuming your using an Athlon (overclocked?) which should be just enough. 512mb's RAM is enough.

Yeah i know i just copyed everything it said. I can run all the games i got at the moment except dos games, hmmm Sis, i think i could find a new driver for it but that wouldn't change anything would it?

XP can't run DOS apps. You will need a DOS emulator, or set up a duel boot with Windows 98.
