guitars i mean
jesus.... what a bunch of perverts... lol

Does a guitar with absolutly nothing but the original color turn your head, or is the trashy, beaten-up, sticker-fied guitar the one that make your spine tingle?

i personally have to go with the trashed ones, because behind most trashed guitars, there's a story of every scar, sticker and scrape.

As I am with people, I dont' really care what they look like. It's the sound that counts.

Well my favorite band in the world....all of their guitars are empty. No stickers, nothing. They don't need em, because they play em well.

However my 2nd favorite band, the guitarist has stickers all over the guitar, you can't even see what it originally looked like.

Doesn't matter to me, as long as the music sounds good.

Not really bothered but it does make me a bit sad when I see somebody with a guitar that is all battered with the finish worn away. Personally I only have one sticker on my own guitar, a little skull sticker which is on the headstock, but do everything to not get it all bashed and chipped. I have the added incentive that the guitar was a gift from my parents so they'd be a bit annoyed if I didn't take care of it and besides that people always comment that they admire the care that I put into keeping it looking good and properly maintained. But if somebody wants to cover their axe in stickers fair enough.

An artist should love his instrument, because without it, he wouldn't be what he is. It always hurts me when I see someone wreck his guitar on stage! :)

I couldn't care less, as long as it works. Same goes for most things I own, unless I own them primarily for aesthetic reasons.

Trashed guitars have experience. If you have a trashed guitar, then you have probably used it for a while, and therefore feel more comfortable with it. A new guitar just makes you look like you have too much money.

I take care of my guitar. Honestly, if someone can play well, then it doesn't matter.

I do prefer to see a guitar in good condition, however if you do like the beat up look but want the guitar to be in good condition, I think some guitar company has a thing called the Dream Factory and they can make the finish look all beat up and make the pick ups look old. It's pretty cool. I think it's Fender.

It doesn't matter if it's shiny or worn to a frazzle because it's all in the sound. Willie Nelson wore a hole in his. *wacky*

Hobo!
Who let that guy on the stage? And tere must have been a serious lapse in security if he managed to get hold of the guitar.
