Doom Remake!

hey i need help getting Doom Remake to run.

Everytime I try to run it it keeps saying:
"Run Time Error 429

Active X component Cant Create object"

My Setup is Win XP Pro SP1.
AMD XP 2400
768 MB DDR
Soundblaster Audigy Gamer
Nvidia Ti 4600 With current drivers.

Is there any way to fix this problem?

what version of doom remake are you using. Are all your drivers surrent? Do you have old ded conflict files? What Graphics API do you use (opengl or driectX 8)? First I think we might need a little more info, try posting your doomsday.out file contents.

well All the drivers are current and I using DX9.

Were do i find the doomsday out file?

Doom Remake is playing Doom and Doom 2 and Doom 64 In Open GL mode.
So far i try to run it but it keeps giving me the same error message..

I installed it to see if i would run into any issues, i had none, it starts right u0 no problems, and let me tell you, it look awesome, the models leave something to be desired, but they are OK, low poly count, but worth looking at, really.

unfortnatly i have no help fr you since i didnt run into a problem, howver a suggestion would be to possibly (if you have it or can download them) install the chipset drivers for your motherboard, sometimes they can help with your agp slot (specifically the agp slot drivers) it may help

I looked briefly when i found that i had a 20 minute wait on 3d downloads and didnt find any, but once i waited it out it flew at over 350k/sec, so it made up for it

i'm having the same problem. the first time i used it it worked fine, then i uninstalled it then i ran into problems. would it just be better to use another program?

This whole doom remake thing is a fake. It's jdoom.

You should go to www.jfiles.org and download doomsday from there.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU for revieving the thread about the theft of our work. I admire the fact that you feel so low as to use this blatent theft of our work, and considering how many of them we see that that also include the iwads, the theft of the Id software and Raven software wads that it contains, and admit to it in public.

How to fix your problem.
1. Remove Doom Remake. Burn any physical copies you have.
2. Download Deng from the sf.net website.
3. BUY a copy of Doom/Doom2/Final Doom/Heretic/Hexen from Id software and Rave Software.
4 Now visit jfiles, and select the packs you like.

If you like doom in openGL there are other ports as well, including Doom Legacy, ZdoomGL and GZdoom.....

PS: Step 1 should say "Incinerate" as it may be confused with the CD term. Most undesirable.
