Anyone here PLay Battlefield 1942 and Mods for it?

I have to say that Battlefield 1942 is one of the best games ive played.Now also with the release of mods like DesertCombat wich you can download at this site www.desertcombat.com .This is one of the most, if not the most open war game ive played.You can fly jets,drive tanks,use battleships,humvees,ground fighting,submarine or even use helecopters.

If you own BF1942, Homefront (http://www.planetbattlefield.com/homefront/) is a definite one to get. Although the weapons could be a little tuned better, it looks awesome.

ya looks pretty cool,i dont realy like the look of the maps could use some better texturing.You should try DesertCombat that mod is awsome the look and gameplay of it is near perfect.I dont even play battlefield 1942 anymore all i play is the mods that have come out for it like desertcombat.

I really like the Desert Combat mod too. Also, I think This Mod (http://www.galactic-conquest.net/) looks quite promising.

Galactic cinquest looks good but right now it has nothing.I downloaded there are no servers for it.Also the only map it has you cant even play.I deleted it but when i see the mod grows then i will get it back.
