Hi there! I'm new to the site and thought I'd ask here.

I've been searching for a chart of size relations for each of the creatures in the original series. I thought I had run across one several years ago but now.... I can't remember where it was. Anyone have an idea? I'd apreciate the help!*confused*

Um... ok. What kind of units are those in? And is there and 'visual' representation for this?

Not to say I'm not grateful for the infor you put in... I'm just slightly confused. Also thought there was a visual rep. for the characters. Maybe I'm just going nuts.*crazy*

If you opened up Dehacked, you will find those values for the monsters from Doom1/2.

There was also another value there I remembered, it related to the monsters toughness, ie if it was shot at there was a % chance it would interrupt movement/actions. Arch-Vile from memory had a very high toughness setting in which it was very hard to prevent from performing its flame attack while you shot at it. Archnotron/Mancubus however were easy to interrupt.

Sickpuppy: It's called the "pain chance". Theres also "reaction time" which dictates how quickly it will attack the player just after being alerted.

Nepher: The "Spawn Health", "Speed" and "Mass" fields in the table are entered in the units showen, while for the "Radius" and "Height" you add 4-5 (sorry can't remember exactly) zeros to the end.

Though many editing progs only allow you to enter height's and radius's as they are in the table anway, because the difference between 640000 (64 units) and 645000 (64.5 units) for instance is pretty much insignificant.

Hopefully the above is all correct. If not could someone correct me.

They are saved in a .deh as multiples of 65536 (E.g 6 units = 393216), but the value you see in Dehacked is the actual width/height the object is in the game.

Thanks ToxicFluff. Knowing me I knew there had to be something wrong/missing with/from what I wrote.

Pain Chance, yep thats it :D. As for Reaction Time, did that also dictate how often they would attack between shots? Or was thats just a one off variable for the first time they saw you?

I believe it's a one time variable actually. I seem to remember setting it real high, and just having this enemy follow me around until I shot him.

1000 less health means nothing when you're just so much cooler.

Haha SpiderMastermind is awsome, but no monster compares to the King Cyberdemon.Maybe only the cacodemon because cacodemons are the best.

I agree about the Cacodemons, but I'm not really a Cyberdemon guy. Most people I know are, though.
