You can get it HERE (http://dlx.gamespot.com/dl.html?id=6089219), but you have to sign up first. It's free and easy. If you don't find this convenient, you can look somewhere else.

Does UT2004 have a proper sniper rifle? I really hated that lightning gun. The weapons put me off playing UT2003. They didn't have the same balance as the original UT, which I still like to play. :)

They didn't have the same balance as the original UT, which I still like to play. :) I thought headshots were too easy in with the rifle in the original UT, because of it's insanely fast reload rate. I haven't played a massive amount of 2003 but from what I have, I think I prefer the original.

OK you guys, UT2k4 is teh shit! Yeah they added the sniper back, and kept the lightning gun. The lightning gun is great against vehicles, so i guess thats why they kept it in. Vehicles btw are so sweet as well. I have been playing the demo online for a solid 3 hours...and i just want more and more. In the full version there is a server option to use the original wep models and styles, just like UT1, so that should keep ya happy :D. Btw all you halo purists, you can use a headset a la CS and xbox games, I heard people using them just now. The physics are remarkably good, for example, flying along the ground in the 'Manta' skimmer, I got wasted by some guy with an AVRiL gun (anti-vehicle). I was at such great speed, that after the initial expolosion I was propelled rolling along the ground for ages, trailing smoke all the way. When I was in this state, every time my shattered manta hit a bump, more explosions shook it again, changing its trajectory. I am just in awe of the game, even from the demo.

The full game has over 100 maps, 80 characters (well that includes skins), and 20 mutators. It comes on 6 cd's or 2 dvd's and minimum install is around 5.5 gigs.

...I have funny little spots in front of my eyes... maybe because i didnt blink at all...
