I was wondering, what application do you use to listen to music?

I personally use iTunes due to its Smart Playlist and Lan Music sharing features.

Winamp now. I did use MusicMatch Jukebox for awhile because it came on my computer when I bought it. But I freshly reformatted a few weeks ago, instead of restoring, so I just went and got Winamp. :p

Winamp, here. Can't go wrong with Winamp.

Winamp 2.5C with a couple of plugins to let it play newer formats.

I use Music Match Jukebox to rip Mp3s and Winamp 2.91 to play them.

Am I the only one using iTunes here? God, I feel left out. Smart Playlist rock, especially for a guy with over 8 gigs of MP3s. ;)

I like Winamp 5 as well, though. It's fast and stable, but the playlist editing leaves a little to be desired.

I use Winamp 5, but I'll probably switch back to 2.9 because it supports .wmas better. 5 screws up the tags. If I ever get around to re-ripping everything as mp3s I'll continue with 5.

Mp3/Ogg/few other formats: Winamp 2.80

HES/NSF/SID/SPC/VGM/MSX formats: KbMedia Player

MOD formats: ModPlug Player

MIDI: WinGroove (even if I'm not using its wavetable emulation)

Winamp 5.02, of course. Although it still blows chunks for .mods, haven't found a decent plugin as of yet. So I occasionally use other players such as XMPlay or ModPlug.

Creative MediaSource.

It's part of my Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS. :D

Windows Media Player, very good for setting up an MP3 library, and copying to an MP3 player. You can burn CD's with it too I believe. It comes with a radio tuner, decent skins. I love it.

jetAudio plays mp3's pretty damn well...sounds a bit clearer to me than Winamp, which I use for 'net radio and odd sound formats (spc, ogg, etc.)

I think Winamp is clearly the best. Organization is pointless with a "jump" feature. I just make individual playlists for all the bands I'd ever want to listen to by themselves. If I want to listen to a band that I haven't made a playlist for, I just open my "all" playlist, highlight the ones I want, invert the selection, delete them, and hit play. (It only takes about 4 seconds)

Bad thing about iTunes is that it takes up a lot of space and you can't drag-n-drop stuff on there.

I downgraded from Winamp5 to Winamp2.91 today because it loads faster, and Winamp5 isn't really much different from 2. But I use a seperate program to rip music, and yet another to burn it. That's my way.
Now, two plug-ins for you Winamp users:
Enhancer: Enables you to better control the sound of your music.
Reproduction Control: Control what Winamp does with the push of a button. AKA: Laziness enhancer... oh yeah.

I still don't see the point in upgrading to Winamp5 yet. Winamp sure hell isn't broken, so why try to "fix" it? Hell, Winamps is just about the only program I use that has never crashed on me.

For some reason, sometimes it'll say that there isn't a disk in the D drive, or the E drive. I wonder why is was ever reading from there in the first place, I don't listen to CD's and all my MP3's/OGG's are on the hard drive. I just hit cancel until it gives up. That's all I can think of as a bug.

The only reason I updated to 5 is because it looks and feels better to me than the old Winamp...the modern skins are very kind to the eyes *xbones*

I don't care what player I use. I use a one that works, and that's Windows media player. I'm not going to change it until I get a good reason to. And that good reason isn't going to be "winamp looks a lot better".

Winamp is tiny, it's easy, and it doesn't use as many rescources. Plus, there are some killer plug-ins.

Winamp 2.9 here. Easy, unbloated and efficient.

Same. I use mplayer2 on my old 180, as winamp sucks up all the resources :/

But it does! It does look better!

CDex to rip from cda to mp3 then winamp5 to play 'em, ya cant go wrong. If yah've got bit of space on ya HD you can make music collection without ever touching a CD more than once!

I use ogg. It's superior in every way.

Yes yes, it looks better, but still it's not a GOOD reason to change to winamp.
