actually id has used lots of "real" music in their mids. Black sabbath's Time Machine (Wayne's world version)'s start is almost exactly the same as one DooM 2's mid.

Some of my faves are E3M8, E3M9, and E1M1 from the original/Ultimate DooM.

E1M1, E1M3, and E1M5 from original Doom, and Map 01 and Map 09 from Doom 2 are probably a few of my absolute favorite MIDIs of all time.

I love the music from DOOM E1M3, E1M5, E2M2, E2M8, E3M2, and the infamous Bunny Song is good for a laugh. But E1M1 is the best. :D I also like the music to Bloodfalls in DOOM II.

I like the tracks for E1M1, E1M2, E1M3, E1M4, E1M9, E2M1, E2M6, E2M8, E3M2*, and E3M3 in Doom/Ultimate Doom.

As for Doom 2, I don't have that game on my new computer at college, and the midis sound like crap on the family computer at home, so it'll be a while before I can determine my favorite tracks from that game.

LOL! I couldn't agree more. E1M1 is probably the best, and that happy bunny song is one of my favorites 'cuz it's so whacky. I wonder if there'l be anything like that in Doom 3! ;D

BTW which one is "bloodfalls"? Which map is that?
