Sorry if this is in the wrong part of the board.

Alright...here's my question. I have downloaded Doom Legacy, jDoom, ZDoom, and ZDoomGL. Is it possible to run my IWADS and PWADS on all of these Source Ports without any complications?

It doesn't matter to me if the solution takes a lot of time or not. I just wanna know if it's possible to run any WAD file with the above Source Ports. :)

I didn't wanna start installing everything and messing up my computer without checking with you guys.:)

Yes it is, just make sure you have your original Iwads installed/available, the source ports you mentioned will ask for their location,... after that you can play any pwad you like ;)

I hate to say it but, no. You can run about 99% of the wads with those source-ports, but there are a few other source-ports out there, and there are PWads made only for these otehr source-ports. So make sure you check the text file first.

There are tons of Source-ports: Edge, Eternity, PrBoom, Skulltag, ZDaemon, csDoom, Doom 3D, Vavoom.

Check out this site: http://doomworld.com/classicdoom/ports/

I wouldn't worry too much about the other ports unless you find a wad for one that you reall want to play. You have the biggest ports already.

Yea I just have Legacy and ZDoom loaded on my computer right now, and I download others when i need them.

Here's another source port for you to try - Risen3D
http://risen3d.newdoom.com/ . The latest version is 1.5.59. Basically intended to run Boom\MBF maps using the Doomsday engine as a base. Will also run zdoom maps provided there are no slopes or hub system, and some legacy maps. A must download !

I've never even heard of Risen3D. Maybe I'll dl it.
