They only want to extend "support" so they can release patches to make 98/ME Palladium compliant. They can get knotted if they think I'm downloading any of that crap. *rolleyes*

Well, I don't have any problem with my network and Windows XP. Works like a charm!

Wasn't it down to head off the switch of 98/ME users to Linux?

I had nothing but problems with ME. Freezing, etc. Other than that, I know D2H says its a bitch to fix when things go wrong in ME. When they get a computer in that has ME on it at his work, they all look around, groan and then automatically reformat. Its the only way to get it working I guess, lol. Thats what he says. heh.

It's no coincidence that they named ME after a highly debilitating disease: http://www.cfids-me.org/
It even shares many of the symptoms.

I was wondering how long it would take for you to post that. You only mention it every time someone talks about WinME. :p

My only real problem with ME was the inability to boot to DOS but thats fixed now thanks to this (http://www.geocities.com/mfd4life_2000/). That and My Documents is on top by default. I can't go from having My Computer on top for 5 years and change all of a sudden.
