Has Anyone noticed that with the newest ATI Drivers for Radeon, Doomsday crashes upon launching any level using OpenGL mode? I went back to the last driver releases for now so that it runs properly. I have a Radeon 9800 Pro.

I got a radeon98000 pro too and i got it back yesterday.
I still need to connect that power relay think or something and then i'll see if the catalyst 4.1 causes any trouble for me

EDIT: I can't even play games for some reason. I think i'm running short on power

i Wish i could just dl drivers, but cause i have a moble 9600, i have to go through hell trying to find them. Any of you know anything about Nvidia's new moble, 5700 go?

I wonder if it defeats the 9600 moble, as the 9600 was way faster than 5600 go was, 400 percent in many cases.

ati cards are usually more effecient, Nvidia fights with more brawn (and gets their asses handed to them in a platter) untill nvidia fights smarter, ati will just keep winning, I speculate though they are just realizing this so hope for the best! I'd stick with either the 9600 ro 9700, either one wontdo you wrong. Besides why pay $200 for a minute performance gain in some games and benchmarks when you wont take much advantage of it anyway (I could be wrong) best of luck.

good call deathgiver, I was thinking of that but, forgot to post it. I haven't had a problem like that at all although I have a radeon 9600 Pro.
