You could check TNT's site. I think they have the walkthrough there.

In this zip file, load up the demo and watch how it's done, it also includes all the other levels.

How can I play these demos? ZDoom cant play them... . I dont have the original doom binary (I deleted the .exe files and other "useless legacy" junk and threw the floppy away - burnt the ports and wads on a CDR). Are there any ports that can play .LMP files?

All ports can play .lmps, but the lmp's the different Doom versions and ports record can be incompatible. With the .lmp linked above, your best bet is the port PrBoom or Eternity (www.doomworld.com/eternity).
