Winamp 5 is Winamp 2. They're more or less identical (Not at all like that lard-arsed Winamp 3, in fact with all the same skins and plugins, Winamp 5 is actually smaller than my Winamp 2 install)


Oh and D_D, that Red Cobra one is nice, it reminds me of Tyrian.

cool. Do these skins make the music play better? Or do they waste a lot of space and distract you from all the buttons just for the hell of it?
I have the classic winamp 2 skin, in stick form.
That way I can stick it on top of my webbrowser, and still operate it fully and not have some massive skin taking up so much of the screen.

Put the skin files in the winamp skins directory and then select the skin in Winamp.

Like Tylenol said. If you download a winamp skin and what you get is a Zip file then you need to rename the .zip extension to winamp's .wsz jobby. ;)

The side bars slide out, when you move the mouse cursor over the interface. It's small, easy to see and use and it looks good. Will keep this one longer, I guess. :)
