Hey, can any one help, I`ve just got a new pc which has XP Home and spent most of the day getting a lot of my regular proggies and stuff installed, problem is I keep getting crappy messages through msn messenger, I havent even signed in to the damn thing *bug*
any ideas?

What kinda messaged do you get?
If you just update your messenger and then install 6.1 there shouldn't be any problems.

That wasn't M$N Messenger.

All you need to do to get rid of messenger pop ups is to go to start, run, type in services.msc and then spot messenger in the list of programs that start up. turn it off and then disable it, problem solved.

thanks ArmyGuy, I read about that way thanks, I have just tried using a firewall which has stopped the spam for now :)
