Is ther long time, til the jHexen User interface Pack is out ?
From Slidespace.

I look the side from day to day. Only to see this:

Not for a while I'm afraid - I've got too many projects as it is - I might whack the few patches I and others have done together as a stop gap - see how it goes.

I've made plenty of patches, I'll probably upload them soon. You're welcome to use them in the jXUI if you make it, Slide.

iv made my own user interface thingy...and a lot are sambo's :) (i think?) by the way im have a problem getting them to work for certain games. the ultimate doom title comes up for plutonia and stuff like that.

I can't actually get this to work.

I've placed it into 'C:\Doomsday\data\jHexen\Auto' and get an error message upon start up.

When I try and uppack the PK3 to see if any files are missing, I get a message telling me that there is a missing archive, and indeed no files are present within the folder strcture.

Am I doing something wrong, or it the PK3 incomplete?

It work for me. I just put the *.pk3 file her "x:\Doomsday\data\jHexen\Auto"

And you can use WinRar or WinZip to see in the *.pk3 file

It is not complet, but it looks cool. Hope it will be 100% done. *bday*

Ok, my initial download obviously failed for some reason, and I only had part of it.

I've downloaded again, and checked...everything is there now.
Trouble it nothing shows within the game for some reason. It would be obvious if it were working, as the title pic has been re-done. But this does not appear, neither does any of the other stuff (fonts etc.).

The file is in the correct place - "x:\Doomsday\data\jHexen\Auto". Nothing seems to be wrong with my Doomsday install. I just can't figure it out....it should work *uhh*

Do you use KickStart? If so try checking that Disable Patch Replacements is not on in the Graphics Tab.

Ok it works now. Thanks for all the help.

As it happens, Kickstart was not to blame. I don't know what was to blame!! but removing the file from the folder, and then placing it back again seemed to wake it up; it was almost as though it did not recognise the new addition to the directory upon the first install.

Weird!
