Unreal 2, any good or not?

Buy it when it comes down in price. I really liked this game in the first missions....

However I do think they jump from one planet to anouther too quickly. Id like to stick around and have a look at more of any one place so to speak. It does however keep you from gettin bored in that regard. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif

The maps with the insects are the best.... though I haven't played all of the game yet. All the levels are cool and some of the missions have you protecting / guarding 'things' while waves of enemies try to break through your defences which is sometimes fun.

I got bored and went off to play some other stuff.

The graphics are cool.

The shotgun is cool and the alt fire sets guys on fire.

Game is short or so I'm told.

Cleavage good.

The only connection between Unreal and Unreal II seems to be the fact they put skaarj in the game and not enough of them IMHO.

The game could've used more content.... theres nothing really new about it. Usually this doesn't bug me but geez this is supposed to be one of those 'most anticipated games' for crapsakes. Urgh!

Being a collector of FPS games in general, I'll wait until it drops in price. I've very very broke, and I have HL2 to buy pretty soon, and probably Deus Ex 2 as well.

On the most anticipated games note, I'm dying for Duke NF to come out.... the footage from the E3 2001 trailer was awesome looking. I can't imagine what the hell they are doing with that game to enforce such a wait.
