Has anyone ever played it? I have. I was at the movie theater (Irvine Spectrum, where my oldest brother works at the new Robinson's May there) with my friends one weekend. We came out of the movie thing (you know where those big movie complex's where they have a lot of theaters) right after we saw the movie, Finding Nemo (my second time seeing it). Then we saw someone playing it so we decided to go against each other. First, my friends Chris and Racheal went against each other, then it was Racheal and I. Her two younger sisters wanted to go, but then we all decided just to walk around the Spectrum.

Oh and it has cool dance music, too!! http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

I've never played DDR in acrade form. We own DDR Konamix for the Playstation. My sister is borrowing it right now, but the last two days I have been playing with her when I was visiting my parents. It's a great way to workout. I really enjoy it. I would like to get some more DDR games, but they are so expensive and hard to find.

It was the first time I've played. It's not very easy at first you know. You have to try to get the right steps where the arrows are going. It was kinda exhausting after awhile.

Yeah it's very hard to learn. Especially on mats with the playstation, because they move around when you are jumping. (they slip and slide on the floor, cause there is nothing holding them down) My friend bought big steel pads for his house, and they are stationary, don't move around at all....but he also paid $200+ for them. I'll stick with the ones that slip around...it's not that bad. LOL

DDR is a great game. Lots of fun, never gets old or boring. Lots of music selection...at least Konamix has a great music selection. I can even get A's on a few songs now. (on the lowest setting for the songs, I haven't ventured out to try and perfect the 2nd and 3rd skill levels yet) You just gotta get a rythem going and keep the beat while you are jumping. My sister can't play very well because she is very stiff, and doesn't keep the jumping going even on the off beats. I keep trying to tell her that's the best way to keep going is to keep the beat with your body...but hey...she can learn on her own I guess.

DDR is definitely one of my favorite games to play. (my legs are actually very sore today from playing the last two days, lol.)

My friend plays DDR on the PC, and he's a master at it.

Ive downloaded a few mpegs of some Japanese kids playing DDR. They would put it on trick mode, and dance around like madmen. They wouldn't even look at the screen...they'd be doing circles, turning around, hitting the arrows with their hands. It was nuts!
