Here is a good title for those of you with a spare $5.00, and a love for Half-Life. It is made using the Half-Life engine, and plays just like it too, except with new weapons, worlds characters and plot of course. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

Had it a long time ago...
I bought it not so long after it got realeased.
The length of the game was dissapointing though, I compleated it after 2 days or so http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm10.gif
Oh and CheapAlert... its a really really really bad multiplayer game, it might be a good singelplayer game but I found the multiplayer part to be just boring.

I brought it when it came out. I didn't like it that much, and for it's money didn't really seem worth it. It would be worth $5.00 though.

I wasn't fond of the Chronicles. I really liked OppForce though (apart from the shitty ending and boss). Blue shift was just ridiculously short.

Opposing Force was the best, that should have its own port to the XBOX, but no, we are getting that damn Counter Strike isntead. :/
Blue Shift was ok, but it was over in like 5 minutes. Nothing near as exciting as Half-Life and OP.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to play OppForce more on an Xbox, where you have to sacrafice the kb/mouse combo? Or do ya use the keyboard anyway, in which case it would make sense?

Well that is the thing you see, there is always a trade off. Of course Keyboard and Mouse is the way to go, but then you have a small screen, which does have a nice resolution, but it is a small screen, and you have to be at your desk playing it.
So, sometimes I want to sacrifice the high res so I can play on a large TV, of course Microsoft being that ass holes they are, refuse to allow keyboard and mouse support because it will make the XBOX too Peeseaish, or so they say. So I am stuck with using dual analog which happens to work out for most games. For one, it is like playing your game in a while new way, infact I bust out dual analog to see how my own maps would feel (oh gawd this is fun) assuming Legacy will ever run on a console with OpenGL some day. There is also the fact that most XBOX game controls are optomised so that they feel natural with the dual analog, Wolfenstein is the PERFECT example of this.
So ya, I would LOVE a port of OP for XBOX, so I could play it from the couch with comfort, and have the controls optomised which (despite how kool it may be), my Nostroma pad can not do, that requires a coder's skill. :/
