Some big news for Halo on PC

.. so if a Celebrity like Alias' Jennifer Garner plays Halo, I should think it is kool too right?

Sounds interesting, but I don't Death Match much, but what I would like to see more of is the feature they may be dropping...


...co-op mode. Seems like there are no FPS games where you can play through the whole game together, rather you get to select a mission, beat it, then select another, which is lame.

Granted I am sure all you guys out there who love death match are going to enjoy this a lot!

I think this is the Halo 1.5 (in my opinion) that we've all been waiting for. But for those who haven't played Halo yet you'll be happy if you do. And that's something I can guarantee. It didn't get all that great karma for nothing.

Is it worth getting for just the SP part of it since I doubt I'll get to play it in DM all because I rarely do the DM dealie anymore.

Oh I LOVE the hell out of this game, matter of fact I am going through it again. It starts off kinda slow, then just explodes and remains kool as hell until the end.

I'll be picking up part 2 for the XBOX the day it comes out without a doubt!

The SP is well worth buying it. It starts off kind of like a tutorial but when you think it can't get any better it does. All Xbox gamers have to be jealous of the PC version. It has more multiplayer features and that alone makes me and anyone else who loves Halo want to buy it. Even if my computer doesn't have the power. And it's too bad Microsoft rushed Bungie. Consider Halo as a half-assed project. But I've been playing it for almost 2 years and I still love it.

Didn't even realize Halo 1 was half assed.

As far as thinking the game couldn't get any better and that I had reached its peek, ya I felt that way a lot while playing it, always to be surprised!

The following repercussions were followed by the rushing of Halo:

The scorpion tank was only in one level
A lot of weapons had to be taken out
The levels had to be shortened
Bungie couldn't add anymore deathmatch levels
The Covenant engineers had to be taken out
A lot of vehicles were taken out
And a whole lot more like graphical issues

This is why Halo 1 is half-assed. If you play Halo 2 or if you've seen the E3 demo then you'll know why Halo 1 was half-assed. Hell, I think it was more than half-assed.

HALO is awsome. As a matter of fact, I just posted a topic about how I'm tired of video games......hmmmmm....Halo PC, I'm gonna buy it and play Halo SP all over again. BTW, did anyone read the book? I did, and I think it's not the best piece of literature, yet it definately gives you the bigger picture of the whole Halo story.

I gotta little bit more info. They said the flamethrower will be included. And co-op is a problem. The code is different from the Xbox version but they said it is their number 1 priority right now. And they said more surprises for the vehicles and weapons will be revealed a little bit later on. And don't forget to pick up the third book this December. It'll be over the events in Halo 2. So you'll know what to expect before you even play the game. But don't read it unless you want to spoil the game.
