Nope. Been thinking about it, but life is too busy now.

I just tried to play King's Quest: Mask of Eternity. It looks like a neat game but it's buggy as hell. It insists on being in a SIERRA\MASK folder and then the intro movie crashed. The game runs but only has any speed in software. In D3D (on a 1GHz laptop) it ran in seconds per frame. In software everything displays in 256 colours (for an engine that looks like Half-Life). In D3D the dynamic lights won't work (not that they worked in software). And after I saved a game it crashed when I tried to load (and when I tried to save over it). I upgraded using a patch on the site and it didn't fix a thing. The controls in the game are a pain for playing in 3rd person since all the movement is with keys and there's no way to strafe. It's easier in first-person mode though.

This is odd cause I don't remember the game running so bad on mom's crap laptop. I've heard there's a compatibility tool for win2k so I guess I'd better find it. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm3.gif

COOL! Glad you finally got it. I haven't played it all the way through yet and I'm waiting to find Tribunal on the shelf. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif

I got Mask of Eternity running on my other computer. It's not a bad game but it's still buggy. I got to this one part where I'm supposed to fight this magical knight guy but I can't because it won't give control back to me after the little cinematic. My guy and the knight just stand there facing each other while some fighting music plays.

I haven't played Morrowindi n a while. It's an awesome game though. You should go to www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind (http://www.rpgplanet.com/morrowind) and get some mods. They really help the game, because you can plug them in and not invalidate your savegame! W00T!

Yes, I have the latest patch for my game DD. It's almost 4 years old now.

You made a mod for yourself to store stuff in Morrowind? Isn't that cheating or something?

LOL. No it's not cheating. If you play the game you acquire lots of stuff and need a place to store it. I just happened to make my own abode. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif

One of my favorite parts of Morrowind is having an excellent skill in archery. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

I haven't checked out the mods in ages. Think I'll do that now.
