I bought the first Soul Reaver. I didn't like the way the camera moved in conjunction with the player and the fact that you respawned back at the start of a map if you got killed. So I'm reluctant to try the 2nd game.
Blood Omen II looks cool. The levels look interesting and the graphics are nice. I watched my brother play it for awhile and I plan on trying it when I finish off a few games that I'm still playing.

dOOM dude, im just gonna tell you two things, soulreaver2 has improned on the camera positioning, the flaw is that its to short, and blood omen2, well ask your brother what he thought abot the final voice overs.
But their both great games , i ended them and i am satisfied, specially with my blood thirst on blood omen 2!

Don't do a lot of tedious switch hitting and like in Blood Omen2 though. Other than that it looked like a good game.

I'm gonna install Blood Omen II later on.... maybe next week. Soul Reaver II sounds good if they fixed the camera / controls. I haven't seen it in the stores for some reason. Stupid Future Shop and Crap-Mart. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm36.gif
[edit] I tried to install Blood Omen II but the 2nd CD has a scratch on it and I get the blue screen of dread. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm36.gif
[edit] I got it installed after cleaning the 2nd CD twice. I can't say my first impression of this game is all that great. The models and the graphics are cool and it seems to have an interesting storyline but the controls are it's greatest weakness. I don't mind having to 'face / lock on' an opponent but having to keep the key pressed is a pain in the ass especially when you have other keys to attend to. I can't get the blood gift thinghy to work and my dude keeps standing there like an imbecile. The could've set that up so when you have a blood gift power enabled.... then that's what you use when applying your fire key. Damn I find games with weirdo controls really frustrating.

Yay! I messed around enough with the control settings that the game is now playable. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
Blood Omen II is pretty cool so far.

I've played Blood Omen II on PS2. It's a pretty cool game. You have special abilities like turning invisible and stuff.

Yeah it is pretty cool now that I'm onto the controls. Geez that first boss was a real pain in the ass. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif Toasted him after a few tries. It has some cool 'dark gift' powers like turning to mist and jump. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/biggrin.gif
