Quiver. That was the worst use of the DooM engine I've ever seen and it was released in 1997!

However, this is not the case with TED's fill routine. This slow, stupid algorithm will casually fill one plane of data in a painfully creeping manner. Ken Silverman made a pretty bad Pac-man clone but you have to give him credit cause he was a kid then.
There was a sort of FPS game called Assassin 2015 or something. It was horrible because you'd creep around in these sadly-design claustraphobic levels and then every time you killed something it would show a friggin cutscene clip of that thing dying! It was damn disorienting when you had to fight multiple robots or whatever they were.

I don't remember exactly which game I thought was the worst, because I've played so many terrible games.

It looks doomish, but I'm pretty sure it's an original engine.

I hated Gothic because it has crap controls and a shitty inventory.

Where can I get a hold of Quiver? I have never seen or heard of this in my life till now.
As for worste game over...
Anything made by LJN for the Nintendo Entertainment System with the exception of Friday The 13th and Jaws which were not bad in a Atari 2600 sort of way.

Yes it does use the DOOM engine, so that adds another to the list:
DOOM
Heretic
Hexen
Strife
Chex Quest
Quiver
Hacx

xdelusion u are right, i remember ljn made some really wack shit... jaws was basic and so was friday the thirteenth , i never cared for them i used to own every nes cartridge ever made...i sold them all and got a pretty penny for my collection too...all the ljn games were pretty much brand new, LOL... mlb baseball was just like rbi baseball 1, lol...exact rip with shittier graphics and that weird ljn style gameplay...xmen was another flop...just horrible, that game depressed me for some reason, it seemed all gloomy and shit, not xmen like at all...spiderman and the sinister 6 blew so did crash dummies (wtf were they thinking)...wolverine was decent for 50 cents...the only semi-decent game i think they released was friday the thirteenth, and that is in retrospect, i hated that when i had it too... hahahaha
