What Games have you played most, Recently.

For moi, I'd have to say the Half-life series. Got the 4 disc set a week or so ago and haven't stopped playing it for ages.

The latest games for me:

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance.
Me and Lance have had a ton of fun playing this. We played the whole time he was at my house last weekend. With 676 secret, and an awesome new way of fighting, it was well worth buying it for my X-Box.

Aliens vs. Predator 2
No need to explain, I did that in the Aliens thread.

Quake 3 Arena
What can I say, I love the game. The levels are awesome, and DMing is hella fun too. When I'm not Doom mapping, I find myself Q3A mapping instead.

Dark Nexus Code: Z
The ZDoom version of Dark Nexus is complete and I have it burned onto a cd as a back up copy. I don't really have fun playing it, but rather watching my friends go through all the levels.

I loaded Tribunal a week ago and then started playing more of the main quest and didn't bother with the Tribunal stuff till today. I just went to Mournhold and went into the sewers. I started collecting games back in the 80s through magazines. The list would be a helluva lot bigger if I could remember them all. Most of the games I bought during the late 80's-mid 90's. Everything you see there are really my favorites. On average I buy maybe 2-3 games a year. It's been almost 3 years since I last bought and kept one (except RTCW, JK2, and 1 or 2 others). I NEVER got them illegally. Everything was either ordered through magazines (Commander Keen series, Doom series, other oldies and more obsure games before game stores became popular) or bought from various stores like EB, CompUSA, Radioshack, and other places. No warez or other bullshit.

hey, does anyone know how to extract the music from halflfe i tried but i don't know how and i don't have a cd player and that's what people have been telling me to do, use the cd with a cd player and i also tried to rummage around in the cd itself and i coulcn't find any music except a promo for a game and an ad for nightmare on elm street.

Yeah, MoH:AA is an extremely well-done game; the storming the beach section was an instant classic; it ranks up there with the first 20 mins. of Saving Private Ryan, in terms of the 'you are there' feeling. My only complaint was, it's ridiculously hard and therefore no fun at the highest difficulty level.

Yeah I really want Half-Life 2. I want to find out what freeman gets hired as. Maybe a guy who gets sent out to kick alien ass all the time or perhaps a mercinarie of sorts.
