Yup http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif It's a TC of Ultimate Doom hehe.
I call it Doom64: REvisioned. (and yes that is a captial R and E).
I have some more screenies I just need lycos.uk to hurry their asses up and get their shit straightened out so I can upload the rest of the screens from Deimos Anomaly and Pandemonium.

I can't wait, I've never really played Doom 64. Just played the first few levels, then found Perfect Dark....

Melfice, this may be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. Does this TC require Ultimate Doom? It doesn't really make a difference as I have Ultimate Doom, Doom 2 & Final Doom.

Doom 2 and the Doom64 TC.
The maps are all from Ultimate Doom, but they're replacing maps in Doom 2. As soon as time is given, the Dark Nexus page will be updated with a little more info on that part http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/tongue.gif You'll obviously need the Doom64 TC for the resources. And btw, all we have left is basically one map, and some beta testing/small nit-pick type things to fix http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/biggrin.gif

I'm looking forward to all the Doom64 goodness. You take care Melfice.
BTW: Is there a release date for Absolution, or is it "When it's done"?

This makes me want to throw up, E1M1 with those drab Doom64 textures.

I can somewhat understand what DarkWolf means by this. It may not be what he meant, but the majority of the textures in Doom64 lack a variety in color. Like most of the Tech style ones are mostly several shades of gray. But then again this is why colored flats/lighting are used to fix that up. Such as in that nukage room, I imagine I'll be putting in some lights, etc. to go on the ceiling.
The hell textures, however, come in much more of a variety. I was just about to upload some pics when Lycos.uk crapped out on me. As a matter of fact, I'll do that right now...

I was sick at the textures themselves, not the work by Melfice.

Having ripped quite a few D64 sprites/textures from the rom now, I've found that the reason for D64's generally very bland textures is that most of the colours in the palette have been swallowed up by the enemy sprites. The colour gradients on, say, the Demon or the Arachnotron are very smooth, but pink and blue isn't generally very useful for wall textures. As Melfice says though, coloured lighting partially makes up for this in-game.
Like the E2M1 shot, very cathedral-ly
