The question: Can I make windeu use Zennode?

It's own nodebuilder is awfully slow.

I don't think so. You can try not using WinDeu's though.

So I can make maps and save them. But when saving I skip the nodes/reject/blockmap building?

Is the map then saved?

Yeah, the map just won't playable until you build the nodes with Zennode.

lol this was one of the reasons that i switched to wadauthour. It's nodesbuilder is the suck, but you can use external ones too lol

You could also create a batch file that both builds your map with zennode and runs the map at the same time. Then you can just run the batch file when you want to test the map again.

Windeu hangs when I save my map, when I have taken nodes, reject and blockmap building off.

Then I have to close windeu using task manager.

Fortunately the map data was saved...

But this can be annoying as the long nodebuild time.

Take out nodes and reject, but leave blockmap building. Then it does not crash anymore.

Tired of crappy Doom editors? So was I, that's why I'm coding my own (http://www.hut.fi/~jpakkane/why/).

I tried that, but then it destroyed my whole map.

Good thing is that I can adjust the autosave frequency. I keep it in 10 seconds. That way crashing doesn't actually matter much.

Maybe I'll start using the autosave. It's faster, but I'll always have to find my maps from windows/temp/

Hmmm... WA usually ignores me when I tell it to use an external nodebuilder. It doesn't matter though, doing it through the address bar is easy enough.
