Curse these new editors! Took me a month to figure out why my door wouldn't work using DEU 5.21. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/tongue.gif

Two things to consider for now: one, levels should actually be beatable on UV mode. Two, lighted rooms need lightsources (sorry, but I bug everyone about that one). http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif

I take forever to map stuff. My first few maps were full of errors of one sort or another too.

hehehe heh, well, I havew studied other peoples maps... to understand on how the heck some things worked like Teleporters, crushers, and other crap and I now know how to do it. Now to find a useful way with it... muhahahahahaha =)

Once you get the hang of things you notice that everything in DooM works pretty much the same way. There are just lines of certain types tagged to sectors. Sector types only affect damage and lights. Only teleporters and rising stairs are a bit weird. The teleporters need those sprites for landing and the stairs rely on the linedef orientation.

Stairs are easy. Rising stairs are a bit weird.
