HacX - In need for DeHacked!!!

Has anyone gone about making a Deh file for HacX to make the enemies, weapons and what not act as they should without using the original executable?

The Chex Quest 2 Dreamcast project is about finished, and now it is time to work on something a bit more interesting. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

He has made such a work on "D2X Gold", and gave us a dehacked file extracted from the exe file!!! Say him that it's Jive who gave you his email... I had some bads experiences with him, but here, he is the one which are able to help the Doom Community. So... I have to forget all the past and to try to have a new start with him!

Well I downloaded the full version, and loaded up Legacy, and after about 5 seconds Legacy crashed. So I burned a ncDOOM CD for my Dreamcast, loaded up HacX, and OH MY GOD!

Everying actually seems to work perfectly, I was shocked! Hell even the glass breaks, this is amazing! I knew there was a reason to get the DOOM port for the DC working better. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

Thankx once again, I am VERY VERY happy now, as will the rest of the guys in the DC sceen when they wake up in the morning.

Hacx was a game made by some of the best doom dev's at the time, and was released as a retail game.
They were working on haxc 2 (which was using a modfied Quake 2 engine, new at that time) but they couldnt keep up with new engine comming up all the time so they had to cancell it.

You should download it and check it out, you'll apparently have to use ZDOOM though :/
or if you got a Dreamcast it runs flawless on there too!

Hmmm... I was just making the difference between what happens with me, and what needs the Doom Community!
I know that John can be helpful, so I give you the possibility to contact him, even if obviously, he can't stay intelligent in front of all the situations and understand that, here, the opposition of our personalities has no importance!

Hey man, don't jump my case, he was nice enough to respond to my E-mail, so I was doing the favor of returning a favor, I don't care to get involved beyond that, and don't even know why he wants you dead so badly, or vice versa, as for further messages, don't expect them because I have better things to do than transmit messages for the jaded and disgruntled.
