I am really bored of my old windows gui, so I downloaded windowsblinds and I skined the windows on my os. well, now theres a problem with Deepsea. Everything works but one.
in drawing mode the cursor is "unaligned" with the vertex selecting during drawing mode, and I am trying to select a line to split and it draws a vertex far off than on the line I want.
its really hard for me to explain, so I'll show some screenshots:
in the first screenshot the x is where I had the cursor in drawing mode. this is without the custom skin

in the second screenshot, the x is the cursor, in drawing mode when I start drawing the line is all the way off the cursor, where its suppose to be.

is there a way to fix this?

I know what the problem is - can't fix that easy though http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif It has to do with the skin shifting the window coordinates.
Sort of an evolution issue, where in DOS there was 1 screen period. Now with resizing and skins it ends up shifting. T
here is some relative adjustment code, but not everywere. The problem is that a -lot- of code has to be looked at and made consistant.
What settings are you using? I couldn't get that big a shift, just a tiny one.

Thanks, was mainly looking for which skin. Thredz appears to be one of the worst for shifting the window. Notice that at the the outer edge of the window your desktop still shows? Sort of odd, since why would anyone want to waste their window space that way?
Try some of the the other ones. There are quite a few that have nominal shifting.
One with animation (like the aquarium) also cause trouble since they repaint the top menu bar.

Ok, wasn't too bad, fixed drawing for sure. Drop me an email so you can test the change - since this affects everything. [Also need to shift the toolbar on the left - later]
There are a whole bunch of other changes too - not all done yet, but close enough. You'll need to d'l a new install which I need to redo and post. I'll give you the link in the email.

How do you do all this coding for DeePsea and still have time for a day job???
Wow, I didn't even know you could have skins for windows like that. The idea occurred to me but I didn't think anyone really bothered. I just keep my windows graphics to a minimum to keep my ancient laptop running fast.
