I like to see easy bmp to flat import (don't know if this exist in v11.6
I also like to see easy bmp to spirte import as well.
also, I would like a feature where you can apply to certain linedefs/sectors/things to be ignored during the error checking process.
for example, I use the "fence" doors trick A LOT, (no upper texture, middle fence texture -128 offset) and I hate having deepsea check for this every time when trying to check for other missing textures.
also, I like using wally to create textures for DSV 4, and maybe would be neat if Deepsea could include the "darken tool" and "scratch tool" and others like wally uses.
anyone else has neat ideas or what would like to see in the next deepsea update?

A good idea, but I'm not sure the pain of doing this outweighs the benefit. Describe exactly the steps you'd take to do this. Like how would you select the ones to ignore? What I do (where it doesn't matter) is put a texture there anyway so the error checker won't complain.

From your question above, I take it you haven't use the import tool for graphics.
If you are making new textures (and the texture has only 1 patch), the best tool to use is the F7/Auto Textures From BMPs. This takes care of the whole ball of wax in one step.

I already knew, that, but I really love using everything in one neat package http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm12.gif
its a pain using wally and deepsea at the same time.
as for the flat imports, I didn't knew about that. I guessed I didn't noticed it.... http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm6.gif
thanks man http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif
