Templecore (Deathmatch Wad)

[Doom_Dude]

This is the first map I completed after making Vilecore and it's also my first attempt at a deathmatch wad for any game. This is one of those maps that had no pre-plan at all. I just sat down one day and started to edit and just made things as I went. I think I was surprised as to how it came out in the end. Some people said they liked the architecture and how the map was laid out. Others complained that it was a little big but I think those players prefer the tiny one or two room maps for thier DMing. I like a spacious map and I was playing Quake II online at the time that I had made this level and I think that influenced the flow of the map when I was building it. When the newdoom review center went down during a server change some of the nice reviews that Stphrz and a few others had posted went out the window. This wad also has some kewl memories for me as I had a server running on my machine for awhile after I released it and me, Stphrz, Don Incognito, Zack, Looney2ner, Cybergeeker, Monkey, Finite, Draconio, Pornoqueen, Orat On A Stick and others used to jump on togehther and have a blast. LOL.

It is a bit big for just 2 or 3 players. I wish I could play a 4+ player LAN game and really give it a run for its money.

Shit, Im getting a error with the download, it seems to be downloading but when I try to save it my system cant find the file and cant uncompress it.

Im lazy, I already have a copy somewhere and have played it but that was a months ago. I can tell from the screen grabs that I like it though.

I looked at that map before. It's good. It has a lot of Vilecore influence so if you liked Vilecore you'll like Templecore.

Very nice, I would love to 'Egypt' this one up, add a few 'Legacy' bits and add it to the mummy phuquers but the text file forbids me, hint, hint.
