For anyone who is interested,

My Doom project is now in full swing. I have figured out the story for the most part, the music is ready to go, I have settled down with a source port and my first map is nearly complete. Within the next two weeks or so (depending on if I get around to it this weekend or not) I should have it out for people to play. It is called ‘Revival of Memories’ and it will ultimately be map one of my TC. That is all the good news.

The somewhat more challenging things that I face are probably practicality and time. Since I do not have anyone helping me in the map making. I would ask again if anyone would like to help me, but I don’t expect the answer to be any different than before. At this point if no one offers help I probably won’t ask again to save you the agony of reading my plea for help over and over again. : )

I suppose that is about it. I hope to be able to submit a screen shot of my level here at NEWDOOM near the completion of the first map, so when/if you see a screen shot, the map is probably done and you can ask me to play it if you’d like. Thank you all who have helped me thus
far.

I'd love to help you Black, but I don't know anything when it comes to actually making Doom games. Sorry!

Plus I'd probably just screw your project up anyway. I would love to make a level with super mario music in the back-ground! It would be just so cool. I mean like the first super mario too. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm20.gif

The first wad I ever made had video game music replacements.

That's great. It isn't actually that hard. You should just go download Wadauthor and mess around with it for awhile. It will eventually make sense to you. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm1.gif

Darkwolf, I am using the 'music' from the PSX versions of Doom, so technically they are video game music replacements. I haven't ever seen you on here before. Maybe I'm just blind. You've obviously been here much longer than I have. Pay homage to a Doom God. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm4.gif

I've replied to topics you've posted before, I did recently change my avatar though.

Aliotroph?
March 15th, 2002, 09:59 AM
Our friend Amy just raised an interesting question: have any women ever made wads for DooM that are known? I can't remember any even though I've played hundreds of wads.

I think there would be something very amusing to Mario music in a wad. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm12.gif

One lady made female marine face replacements, it's somewhere in the 3darchives.in-span.net mess.
