I am currently creating a TC for Doom II and I'd like to know some things that you, the Doom people would like to see. I'm not saying I'm very good at this or anything, but I want to try to make a game that people would maybe look forward to playing...

Doom64!!! Ever since I played it, I've been wishing for a tc themed after this masterpiece...a partial tc is available but it only includes the weapons& items along with scenery...what would be cool is if someone would actually convert the monster sprites (especially the Demon & Pain Elemental) and the maps...but it would definitely be for EDGE in order to mimic some features (thundering sky from map 12, Altar Of Pain, fire sky from map 24, No Escape)and the double plasma shots from the Arachnotron...

Someone in Rants said they wanted a Discworld TC, but if you don't know what I'm talking about then don't even bother. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/wink.gif

Even a well designed map pack is as good as any TC though.

That's true...the only thing that makes a tc good is quality, not how many new textures or sprites or whatever...Requiem, Memento Mori & Alien Vendetta don't use new sprites, just new textures...and even then some maps from those tc's use Doom 2-only textures, and they are good.

There you are right, who constitute which Doom, are the textures.
