I know deepteam is going to give you the treatment but Im here first. If you liked DEU you will love DETH. DETH looks and works just like DEU but doesnt crash as often and lets you use all available memory so you can build much larger levels. It will also work under Win98. It lets you use the new Boom and Legacy linedef types for 3D sectors and deep water.
The only other editor I can recommend is Deepsea, I dont use it but everyone who does seems to be happy with it, Im not sure but I think it can be used in the same way as DEU if thats what you want. It is shareware so if you want the full unlimited version you will need to send the author some money.
You should look through the older threads for this forum, theres a few about editors.

If you are a programmer beside level designer, then pick ZDoom and Zeth, you will be able to do wonders for sure. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smilies/cwm32.gif

Yup, DETH is basically DEU http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif So like he said, "a simple .. DOS Programm".
Btw, if one doesn't know much about a product, how does one know if it's better or worse than what one is used to?
Just curious http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

Rellik, did you get the email? If not interested, that's ok, but considering you were saying you had email issues, maybe it got lost?

Nope, I got the email and I'd still like to do it, but unfortunately I am no longer employed. I tell ya if I hadn't told my boss I was tired of all his bullshit and chewed out basically the whole crew right infront of them, hell I'd have you building the whole kit and caboodle. Now that I'm unemployed and not really looking to get another job right away I have to reconsider some things. I was really hoping to get a 1.6gigahertz Athalon too but now I'm just gonna have to wait.
Heh, it was worth it though. Should've seen the mouths hanging open when I started screaming at my boss telling him he had no idea how to run a business and that it was like "the kids are running the daycare". LOL, still cracks me up. Man I really lost it that day. Good thing I'm good at saving up my $$$. Now it's time for a little temporary retirement. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

Nice one Rellik, I did the same thing a couple of years ago when I took a job in a computer store run by a bunch of crooks.
They wanted me to put dead motherboards back in their boxes and back into stock, that and a few other things. They have the lowest prices in Edinburgh, no wonder.

Aliotroph?

My computer is from a store that's about that cheap. My dad thought is was a good deal. Most of the reason it works is because I really like tinkering with software and my brother is good at tweaking hardware.
