Is is possible to tag a monster so that when it is killed a door opens or floor lowers etc. as at the end of Doom: Episode 1 (I use DOS DCK to create my levels).

for ZDoom, double click on a monster. Open his Object properties window. Now go at the Special section. In this combo box, you will normaly see (Normal). Just choose what special ACS need to be activate when the monster will be killed.

a have taken 3 screen for this.

Tagged enemies only work on certain levels and are hard-coded into DooM.exe and DooM2.exe. In DooM, killing the barons at the end of E1M8 triggers the lowering walls. In DooM2 Map07, tags 666 on the Mancubi and 667 on the Spiders respectively trigger the lowering walls and the rising steps. On Map32, whacking the Commander Keens allows access to the exit switch. There aren't any other levels where enemies can be tagged in vanilla DooM or DooM2.
