Direct Importing of Midi's

Does anyone know how to directly import midi files into your wad without having to convert them into mus format?

I use DEU 5.21. It has a feature to create wad files from raw files (midi included). The midi has to have a short name or it won't work though. I then copy the midi from that wad into another using WinTex. It's messy, but it works.

aah geuss this doent help but i use midi2mus to convert to mus and then put the mus in the wad using wintex..

Sometimes that screws up the music.
