Do anyone of you know where to get a plugin for 3D Studio MAX for exporting to the MD2 format? I tried searching for it around the net, but all I found was dead links, but I got it confirmed that such a plugin *does* exist though.

Well Milkshape 3D can import 3dsmax file formats, and it can export to MD2 aswell. So you might try using that if you can't find the plugin. Here is the URL: http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ .

Oh, I'm not making any models myself. I just thought I'd test out how it'd look if I ripped Crash from Q3 and put her into Doom, would be nice using her as a model.

I don't even remember which one Crash is. I only played Q3 for half an hour before I got bored (only had a demo). I'm not sure how to go about doing what you're doing though. Sorry, can't help.
