if anyone knows were to find a detailed tutorial (if one exists) for wadauther, i think thatll save everyone lots of time...

For starters, try Rick Clark's tutorial on WadAuthor here:

Unfortunately, if you want to insert a music lump into your wad you'll have to use some other utility such as WinTex, DeePSea, or XWE. WadAuthor currently has no lump-management capability, but the creator of WA (John Williston) promises to include that capability soon.
