Yes. Indeed there are.

I myself use Wintex to extract graphics from wads. In fact, I actually use two different versions of the program, version 3.4, and version 4.2, because they each have a different set up, and can do different things. Wintex is also a good program for building wads. An extensive help section included for each version will help you to learn how to use them fairly quickly.

Mixe him with Wad Author. You will like this mixing.

Also NWT is good!
NWT1.3 and NWT Pro is a nice dos-based editing system.

An essential features of NWT is its cleaner option.
This cleaning option will reorganize your wad entries better than the wintex version.

nwt (your.wads) -c

I use wintex to edit my wads then use nwt to compress them

Why does Wintex 4.3 insist on extracting music as midi? I have to use Wintex 4.0 when I want to extract music, because it saves them as .Mus files. http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/smilies/cwm25.gif

DeePsea easily extracts any lump from a WAD file. Press F7 and select Export. You can select from 1 to ALL the lumps all at once. The conversion options lets one choose the formats used in the export.

The next version (11.01) will make both Exporting and Importing even more flexible.

There are no limits in these tools, even in the shareware version.
