New Editor

Im new at editing...could someone tell me what i should use to start out with? im trying to make a WAD like my school. Im not a complete moron i do VB, and webdesign...and i kinda have some idea how to put a wad together but im still a little lost i am using DoomCAD 6.1 anything better? more userfriendly???

you might want to try wadauthor 1.3
it is windows based and works pretty good

I'd not do a map based on your school, though.
Those are so passe since '96, or somewhere around there.

There's also the Columbine factor as well, the map may be considered tasteless when you release it.

Whatever editor you choose, hopefully you'll have some better ideas to execute down the road.
