I NEED some help with Edge

Whenever I try to run EDGE, it appears to be loading and then says "No IWADs found". What the hell is an "IWAD"? Where can I find or make one? If I ssound like a dumb-ass it's because I just learned about new doom mods like ZDooM (which I have and it works) a few days ago. And if you think I'm a dumb-ass let me ask you this: What does E=IxR? If anyone can help me with my problem, I'll be thankful (and I'll tell you what E=IxR means.)

IWAD FILE: Is the main wad file that comes with a game Doom.wad, Doom2.wad...etc The file contains almost all the Data for every level in the game, and is about 11 meg for Doom 1, about 15 meg for Doom II. Oh, and you can only run the Shareware wad with Jdoom and Legacy (as far as I know anyway, there be others) it is about 3 meg in size.

Thanks, but it still didn't work with the winblows 95 version so I tried it with the DOS version and it worked (when I was offline) That's just one more reason to hate Microsoft.

Now I'll tell you what E=IxR means. it's a fourmula in electronics where E=voltage, I=current, and R=resistance. Don't ask me why they used those letters.

Ha! I have the same problem, so I just use DOS EDGE. EDGE is the most easily editable sourceport available, which means it's totally full of bugs.

Why can't we just have one source port that has everything?!?!
