View Full Version : Problem with DoomCad 6.1 (?) and GOTHICTX.WAD

As in topic. I open this wad as secondary graphic file. For now all is ok. When a tried to put some sort of this textures on my wall, i've got OVERFLOW message and program immediatelly ShutDown, lost my work. What happened. Is anybody who know what can i do with it ? HELP !

Merge the gothictx.wad into your DOOM2.WAD, and use them that way.

You can use graphic and level PWADS on it, separately.
You'll see the new textures in the texture window, and edit your maps. You just need to do all the work that your editor does for you, though (on the maps).

Works fine here.
Could be from the last level youhad loaded, since DOOMCad loads the last edited level back up.
Try editing the DOOM2.INI, remove the alternate texture WAD (AltTextureFile=XXX)and the last loaded WAD in DOOMCAD.INI (CurWADFile=D:\DOOM2\), then run it with the Gothic textures merged into your IWAD.
