I think I can guess while you all are here suddenly:

The Rants & Raves forum became too crowded for you regardless of the friendly yet strange people that inhabit it now so you all came over here for some classic spamming in the MegaWad because you felt a bit cramped in R&R. That's my theory anyway.

I think we came over here because we just did. It's one of those things that got started up pretty randomly and we stuck with it.

The big difference about this place vs. rants is that there are very few people here so you don't get many topics about jokes, polls, quizes or pictures because they are for groups. Here you get more personal topics but still a lot of the same sort of really weird stuff that only happens at Newdoom. http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif

yea i do too but its just getting ridiculusly cold now. well the weather in general has been odd. i remember on day the temp was like 50 farenheit and the day after it went down to 9 farenheit

That's not cold! Ours just went down to something like -40 farenheit, which happens to line up with -40 celcius. Pascal is a funny looking language. My dad used to use it a lot. There are some good games written in it.

Right now I have to learn how to use Matlab again to build GUI's for programs so I can show one of dad's grad students. I used to know but I seem to have forgotten how to do that.

I was playing with Borland C++ Builder 6 today. Wow, there's a quantum leap. The alst thing I ever did in C++ was console programs with no discernible point or function.
