I'm jumping ahead to map 09 The Vile Complex and last night I made 3 colored tech doors for the map. Theres a tonnage of tweaks to do to map09 and I better get right on that while I'm psyhed up for mapping the core.

Yeah, sounds good. I started making some map last night to explore this idea I had. I mapped out a whole pile of stuff and realized it was WAY too big in dimensions. I had to shrink it quite a bit. It's a 3D tech DM level again, but even darker.

Well, that new map design may have to be scrapped for the most part. I can't think of a way to texture it that won't look like shit and there are a couple other issues. I'll look at it again later. I could do a smaller map with the same theme I intended though.

Now I need to find my Half-Life CD for more sounds...

I've been able to fix the issues on most laptops as long as it was just fucked up software. Laptop hardware is impossible to fix. Often the shops can't even do it.
