My brother is slowly putting back together a bunch of old boxes. He got our old 486 50MHz from 1992 working again. He was thinking of installing FreeBSD on it and using it as a router. Now he just has to get the customized Aptiva with the 300MHz K6-2 to work again (I think the motherboard might be fried).

I download the demo of DeepSea last week, going to see if I like it.
Only thing I liked about WadAuthor was you could cut & paste sectors between levels.

I didn't mind DeePsea. It can get rather complex for some things though. I haven't tried a recent version though...

Started off using DEU then moved to DETH which works the same but doesn't crash as much.

The newest version DETH424 wasn't hard to setup as far as I can remember.
Just editing the INI file to tell where to find the WAD files.

My brother's on my better machine. There are two things better about this one though: CodeWarrior actually works, and my MIDI synth is better (funny cause it's software).
