Wow, Doom_Dude! The file's been up for only 36 hours or so, and it says it's been downloaded over 150 times! (Okay I don't go downloading megawads every day so if they always get this publicity, fine, don't be surprised)

Vilecore is pretty decent. Fun to play. All the levels seem to be of a good size so it's gonna take a while to finish :) I'm looking forward to seeing some reviews of it. The only thing lacking is detail. But still 32 levels! This is definitely one of the best 32 level megawads that was done by a single author. You should be proud Doom_Dude.

DF2K is also quite good. George, you really should make more levels like this. Especially like the second level. A real clean professional look! The third and fourth maps had good architecture, but funny looking texture choices.

Glad you liked it. Yeah, the texture choices for the last 2 maps are suposed to be stuff that are components of, or can take the heat of, lava. I know they look odd, but they work in a weird way. http://forums.newdoom.com/ubb/smile.gif

As for Vilecore, NOW I'm on MAP06, and yeah, the detail is a-lackin', but 32 maps by one guy is one hell of a feat, and I can understand it. Where it's present, it is good.

Thanx Stphrz. I know my maps are laking in detail, but I prefer level design to high detail. Then again my later maps are better designed, considering these first maps in Vilecore are my first attempts at editing.
