I am (or was if it doesnt ge fixed http://forums.newdoom.com/UBB/smile.gif) playing Doom 2 on Legacy from the start (MAP01) till the end. Saved it from time to time, took me couple of days and now im at MAP27 (however, i dont think the map matters) and every time I load the savegame and continue my game, I get only a couple seconds to play (30 something) and then the game crashes big time! I tried saving again, saving in different slot, nothing helpz.

Playing on an AMD K6-2 333MHz 3DNow, 128MB RAM at OpenGL on a Diamond Stealth III S540 32MB AGP, however, even in software rendering the game crashes.

Duuude please tell me what to do, for the first time im about to play entire Doom 2 without cheats and now this happendz!

Hmmm, try to play the same level starting with the pistol (suicide before you crash or type "map mapxx" in the console, you should try both to see if you still crash after suicide). If you can complete the level and it doesnt crash when you restart the level with "map mapxx" in the console, then your savegame is probably damaged.

ok, tnx, found out my savegame is damaged. now wondering how can it be damaged? my comp doesnt move, theres nothing bad on my disk,... bug?!

Probably a bug, I suggest you fill in a bug report and send the savegame file. Try to run a scandisk on your disks, maybe windows damaged the file though.
