View Full Version : Wow, cool picture on main page of NewDoom

I just checked the main page of NewDoom, and there's this really neat "Featured Screenshot" of a feature in development for Legacy. Looks really great, though I wonder, is there any wads being made these days which will take advantage of something like this? I don't see any great deal of promising Doom projects around (most of them promise a good deal of things, but nothing seems to be done with them).

If youre talking about the 3D floors screenshot that were there before. I can assure you that there's being kickass wads made for it.

Masters and Nimrod are two.

Where would I be able to get the version of Legacy with the solid, textured middle floors?

You don't it's not public yet. Once it's complete it'll be added to Legacy.

Well you make one just like you add a boom water. You have a linedef on a sector wich contain the height flats and texture you want for your 3d floor. then add tags etc.

The ceiling of the vector sector is the same as the above floor of the 3d floor and the floor is the ceiling of the 3d floor. The light level you set in the vector sector will set the light level below the 3d floor.

BTW the trigger is 281.
